Established in 2003, Burnett Immigration Services Inc. (BIS) provides immigration services to 1) Canadian businesses and institutions seeking employees internationally; and, 2) to skilled workers, professionals, farmers and entrepreneurs applying to work and/or invest in Canada. Company President, Elaine Burnett has over 25 years of experience in immigration and an extensive background in international trade. Elaine is a certified member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants and a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants. BIS has worked with Canadian companies to fill labour needs from markets such as the Africa, China, Colombia, England, Korea, Ireland, Mexico, Philippines, Serbia, United Kingdom, United States, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. BIS has grown extensively over the last few years and now has 7 staff members who bring a wealth of immigration and international business experience as well as language capabilities in French, Mandarin, Punjabi, Hindi, and Tagalog to the company.

Current Products and Services

Specific services provided by BIS include: * Advising companies on best practices and requirements for the identification, recruitment and immigration processes for bringing "skilled" and "unskilled" workers to Canada. * Developing and implementing specific human resource plans with companies for the screening, recruitment and processing of qualified immigrants under the appropriate immigration program. * Providing advice and guidance to individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada. * Providing immigration processing services to guide the immigrant through the application processes required by provincial and federal government programs for permanent landed residence status. * Assisting temporary foreign workers applying for permanent landed residents. BIS specializes in the following applications: work permits, study permits, permanent landed residence, family sponsorship, citizenship and Labour Market Opinions.
